He is a man who cannot be put into words, but rather must be understood through his acts, convictions and thoughts. Athletic, entrepreneurial and enthousiastic, he will surprise you with his uncommon determination.
If you love to travel, I invite you to meet him over a drink, this is enough to take you very far (even before feeling the effects of alcohol, lol).
Knowing him, I can now say that the level of friendship is not related to a unit of time but of intensity.

Thanks to his experience, he has accumulated a large number of practical knowledge for all the trips we do.
Those who know him will tell you that his desire to move will bring you away with him. Get to know him and he will demonstrate by facts the discourse theory “when we want, we can!”.
It sounds nice but we can still blame him on one thing: he engages himself in too many projects at once, not sure you’ll be able to follow him.

To dream and to make all the efforts to achieve this dream, this is what this man can do thanks to his will and resourcefulness. His presence is reassuring, even indispensable and puts everyone in the best conditions.
The doctrine of this altruistic: “5 friends are more than 5 times stronger than a solitary man ….”
Before meeting him, I was destined for a quiet life near my hometown. But this friend, so different, spoke of his past and future travels fairly frequently and with passion that only him can share,… I quickly succumbed.
Finally, I will conclude by saying something rather unusual : he is certainly the person who has changed more quickly my life, and it may be the same for you…

He never lost his taste for travel, and his determined temperament has already allowed him to succeed in engineering studies and gave him the will to discover a lot of exotic countries.

With his amazing interpersonal relation skills and a unique humor, he will be a significant asset for meeting people, sharing and learning. Between Grenoble and Montpellier, from the mountains to the sea, you’ve always been amazing of audacity and I do not doubt that you will use it wisely throughout our adventure. I did not take long to “tame you” (laughter) and now I’m glad I met you.

He is the kind of characters who is not afraid to radically change his lifestyle: on time a hard worker, suddenly passionate snowboarding rider , once again to the discovery of Chile for 5 months in having left everything behind him.The trips made with him remains in memory because of its almost constant good humor and strong enough optimism that made him pass some difficult episodes in both his life and his trips.It will burst his wheel on this trip will always find a place on the handlebars of his bike until the next stop! |

Siphay is certainly as original as his first name. Very difficult to truly identify because of his quirky humor, his unique way of approaching people but also his lifestyle quite singular.
Il reste un compagnon de voyage des plus agréables. C’est d’ailleurs avec lui que j’ai découvert la Laponie, la Croatie, la Sardaigne, la Corse ou encore une partie des Cyclades Grecques.
He is enjoyable travelling friend. This is with him that I discovered Lapland, Croatia, Sardinia, Corsica or some of the Greek Cyclades.
His philosophy: Enjoy every moment of life !!!
I can not speak of Siphay without mentionnig snowboarding. Put him on a freestyle board and you will discover all the energy hidden under his calm and serene behaviour. Anyway I can assure you that if you find yourself in his surroundings, you will not miss him ! And I can only wish you to meet him.

Naturally conciliant and rather quiet, this boy likes to be left by the waves, enjoy the present moment. But don’t be mistaken, his peaceful look hides a cluster of perseverance and athletic qualities that could be alled hallucinating !
I never really understood how someone so singular, so far from the norm, could be as pleasant and easy to get in touch with.
Wherever you go, his knows how to create contact with people in an amazingly easyness. You will see, he’s a amazing guy !

A person looking calm and serene and when it is time to move forward, it will be hard to divert him or to slow him down. Even if he is often daydreaming, his ideas put you down to earth. And get ready because he always manages to surprise you on both physical prowess, his reflected hindsight, or evenhis blathering about uncommon subjects. Characterized by its many qualities, he will easily win your trust.

I have heard a lot about Brian through his two childhood friends, Morgan and Siphay, before having the chance to meet and to enjoy being together with him.
Naturally sporty, this guy fond of windsurfing and trekking is always willing for excursions of all kinds. His motivation allows us to move forward in this project and I wholeheartedly hope that it will encourage him to join us during our journey.

 Somewhere between the moon and the stars, he entertained our trips in often forgetting things, though it is never serious. Brian has always surprised by his physical ability but also and especially by his boundless energy hidden behind a calm behavior and sometimes even shy.
When seen on a windsurfing board, a snowboard or a mountain bike … we could take him for a suicide bomber. But this is false. Brian is a very thoughtfulm, who can weigh the degree of risk and the percentage of success of his endeavour …
Since 1993, our friendship is intact and allows us to jointly develop long term projects.

In his behavior you find all the values he defends, more respectable one than the others.
His thoroughness, which could make us laugh sometimes (but not as much as his accent, lol), made him a remarkable athlete. Always cheerful and humorous, you’ll have many opportunities to laugh if you spend time on his side.

His athletic qualities make him a tough guy and his very good knowledge of cycling make him a minstay of the team.
His presence radiates a feeling of safety, probably due to his humor that will soon make you forget all your troubles.
After a few memorable experiences at his side, discovering Lapland and sea kayaking in Sardinia, I wish to share much more with him in the future.

A year living with the crazy skier, cyclist and volleyball player allowed me to discover the philosophy: “Being motivated whatever happens.” Bibi, as we call him, is always ready to move out !
Why we call him “Bibi”? All those who know him say that when he decides to do something he will do it at 100%, otherwise he won’t even start. Simplistically we can say that Bertrand is set to “1″ or “0″ or binary.
Hence this nice nickname Bibi. This hyperactive will surprise you with his naps placed as soon as he can find free time, breaks of 20 minutes that make him always full of energy.

Bibi fell in love with travelling thanks to his passion for sport. His taste for cycling associated to a group of friends-travelers has naturally led to his participation in this trip.
Full of good humor in all circumstances and open-minded, you will grab this natural confidence that makes his character.
A short visit to Denmark during his semester abroad allowed me to understand better why everyone said that Bibi is endowed with a particular sense of humor.

Absolutely amazing adventure guys! I’m gutted I missed meeting you when you were in New Zealand. You stayed with my client and good friend Richard (I’m his massage therapist – you could’ve used a massage I bet!). He told me to have a look at your website. I’m about to start a very small (compared to yours) adventure to do Mount Kilimanjaro in September. I like the look of your website and your videos are AMAZING. I was hoping you might share some advice and tricks so I might be able to make my story look cool like yours. For example, the music you use on your videos… did you need to pay for it?

Ah we had such a good time with Richard and Val, great Kiwi people, so generous and cooking such a good food too ! It seems Richard will always be keen on using his body so we bet you must be a great help for him.
Nice adventure to Kilimandjaro, you plan to climb it to the top ? Thanks for your commentes on our videos, we spend long days working on them. It feels good for us when we have such comments.About the music, the legislation is not very clear : on Youtube, the artists of the songs normally get some money out of our videos (with advertisement on Youtube) so no we don’t pay for it, even though Youtube say we should. As long as we don’t sell anything they don’t bother you because that makes what Youtube is. On Vimeo I’m not sure.
We’ll keep in mind the massage for next time in Kiwi land.
